Terms of Service

1. Booking & Payment

Booking online does not require upfront payment. Payment is due upon completion of service via cash, e-transfer, or card. Prices listed are in CAD and may vary based on vehicle size, add-ons, and location.

2. Arrival Time

We aim to arrive within your selected time slot. However, due to traffic, previous job overruns, or unforeseen delays, we may occasionally run up to 30 minutes behind schedule. If we expect to be more than 30 minutes late, we will contact you directly via phone or WhatsApp with an updated arrival time.

3. Vehicle Access & No-Show Policy

Customer must ensure the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled time and location.

  • If our team arrives and cannot access the vehicle (customer not present, no keys, blocked parking, etc.), a $20 trip fee applies to cover travel and time.
  • If the customer does not respond or reschedule within 15 minutes of our arrival, this will be treated as a no-show and the $20 trip fee applies.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance: no charge.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a $20 fee.

5. Weather Policy

Services may be rescheduled due to severe weather (heavy rain, snow, extreme cold) for the safety of our team and the quality of your service. We will contact you to reschedule at no extra charge.

6. Stain & Damage Disclaimer

We make our best effort to remove stains, odors, and buildup using professional-grade products and techniques. However, we do not guarantee full removal of old, permanent, or deeply set stains. If additional work is needed for severe cases, we will inform you before applying any extra charges.

7. Liability

Cosmic Gloss Auto Detailing is fully insured. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage, scratches, or dents not disclosed before service
  • Damage to aftermarket modifications, loose trim, or previously repaired areas
  • Personal items left in the vehicle — please remove valuables before service

8. Vehicle Condition Disclosure

Customers must disclose any known issues with their vehicle (e.g. loose parts, prior damage, sensitive electronics, special coatings, or wraps) before service begins. We use professional-grade, industry-standard products; however, vehicles with unique paint, wraps, or aftermarket coatings may react differently.

9. Water & Electricity

If water and electricity are available at your location, we will use them at no extra cost. If not available, we bring our own water tank and generator for a $5 fee.
